2015 Pungo Strawberry Festival

The 2015 Pungo Strawberry Festival will be held Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1776 Princess Anne Road. Admission is free and parking is $10 per vehicle.

Held in celebration of strawberries and other local agricultural products, the Pungo Strawberry Festival is an annual event for Virginia Beach.

Delight your taste buds with strawberries prepared 50 different ways and enjoy carnival rides, a parade, barbecue, cotton candy, 4-H exhibits, petting zoos, pony rides, music, a pie eating contest, and more.

The festival is organized by volunteers. To date, nearly $1 million in festival proceeds have been donated back to the local community.

The Pungo Strawberry Festival regularly draws more than 100,000 festival goers to the Virginia Beach community of Pungo.
