A warm spring is allowing visitors more beach enjoyment than normal for 2009. In both April and May of 2009, beach lovers have had a higher than expected number of warm sunny days. Rainfall in early May has been steady, but in between systems, the Virginia Beach boardwalk has reported a steady flow of visitors. Toursim is expected to increase as more warm sunny weather arrives in Virginia.
