In November, residents will be electing Representatives to serve in the Virginia House of Delegates and the Virginia Senate. A forum has been scheduled which will allow candidates to speak out on issues related to the environment.

The following candidates are scheduled to speak:

House of Delegates

District 21:  Ron A. Villanueva and Adrianne Bennett

District 82:  Harry R. “Bob” Purkey

District 83:  Chris Stolle

State Senate

District 7:  Frank Wagner

District 8:  Jeff McWaters

The State Legislators Forum will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Cape Henry Collegiate School, Dreyfus Auditorium, 1320 Mill Dam Road, Virginia Beach.

Joel Rubin, of Rubin Communications Group, will serve as Moderator for the evening.

Questions will be asked by the following panel:

Don Luzzatto, Editorial Page Editor for the Virginian Pilot

Karen Forget, Executive Director of Lynnhaven River NOW

Wendy Vaughn, representing the Garden Clubs

There will also be an opportunity for questions from the floor. Pre-registration is not required.
